피아노를 가르치는 인경에겐 오랜 연인 상현이 있다. 어느 날, 상현의 일본 발령 소식에 인경은 일본어를 배우기 시작한다. 그곳에서 그녀는 피아노를 배우고 싶다는 영균을 만난다.
In-kyung, a piano teacher at a private academy, is informed by her longtime boyfriend Sang-hyun that he will be taking a job in Japan. She decides to start taking Japanese classes without his knowledge. In the class, she meets Young-kyun, a young man who wants to learn piano.
3개월. 언어를 하나 배우기에도, 악기를 익히기에도 벅찬 시간이다. 하물며 사람을 어떻게 제대로 파악할 수 있겠는가. 알면 알수록 갈피를 잡을 수 없는 사람의 마음을. 이해하지 못하고 이해받지 못한 슬픈 관계를 생각하며 이 이야기를 만들었다.
Three months is a very short time to learn a language or a musical instrument. So how can we possibly come to understand a person in such a short amount of time? I made this film while thinking about the spaces between people and the sad feeling of neither understanding the other, nor being understood.
